The handles on both sides of the door had screws that had gotten loose. It was common wood screws and not consistently bolts, so something had to be done. A quick trip visit Clas Ohlson fixed it: I needed force, glue, chisel and some kind of wood, that I could replace what was destroyed: I ended up with a bracket. How it looked on the one hand ... Not much to tighten the bolts in here ... Nor on the other side:S Must say that joker in batman (1989): "You can not make an omelet without breaking eggs". It ended with that I removed what was damaged, a little more than what I had to bracket:) Improvised "workbench". There was some adjustment, but I had relatively good luck with that thing pass quickly. Why I not bye wooden glue?! Anyway ... polyuretan glue seems to have done its job. Here is the working conditions. What is not in the picture is me in a blue shirt, which I eventually replaced with a batman t-shirt. And as an alternative to steal toe shoes I had "raggsokker". A trained eye can see here that I have used "temporary white paint": the sheer white tape. Guess it will end up being permanent, but plan A is to paint in the spring / summer .... The trick (as in the previous picture) is that I have also used a bit black tape to emulate a keyhole :-) Relatively satisfied with the results. It got functionally, if nothing else.
